Email your AI through the mailbox you already use.
Give your assistant a familiar name and keep the mail with your email provider. AutoEmail routes eligible requests to the agent and sends its answers through the verified SMTP account.
Choose a runtime with tools and recurring execution
Your agent needs HTTPS tools that can send Authorization headers, read routed requests and post replies. It must retain its polling cursor and run again when new mail arrives.
OpenClaw and Claude Code document suitable tool and scheduling capabilities. These are runtimes to configure and test, not certified AutoEmail integrations. Other agents require equivalent capabilities.
Know what the connection can access
The bot-specific key accesses that bot’s routed conversation API. It does not reveal your provider password or authorize arbitrary SMTP recipients. Mailbox and workflow developer tools use separate workspace keys.
Set up the connection
Verify IMAP and SMTP
Save your existing account and test both transports on the same mailbox.
Name your bot and select its mailbox
Use a display name you recognize. Its underlying sender address is the selected mailbox email.
Copy the scoped prompt
Paste the generated prompt into your agent and enable its HTTPS tools and recurring checks.
Write a mailbox conversation
AutoEmail saves the request at your provider. The agent submits its reply for SMTP delivery and a copy is saved in the provider folder.
Frequently asked questions
What happens when I write in the web app?
AutoEmail saves your request in a dedicated folder at your provider and makes that routed request available to the bot’s agent. When the agent submits a reply, AutoEmail sends it through your verified SMTP account to the connected mailbox address and saves the reply in the provider folder.
Does pasting a prompt keep my agent running?
No. Your external runtime runs the model and checks the API on its own schedule. AutoEmail does not host or schedule an AI model. Keep the agent available and check its permissions and usage limits.
What if delivery is uncertain?
AutoEmail shows Delivery needs review and does not automatically resend. Inspect the provider mailbox and use Check provider delivery to reconcile the message reference. That check never sends the email again. Fix the connection and review the result before resuming a paused bot.
